Our Wildfang Bunky® has another surprising feature to offer.

Broken off sections or remaining pieces that have become too small can be used for approx.  “Puffed” in the microwave for 60-90 seconds at low wattage (duration varies depending on device power). The smell intensifies and the remaining piece becomes visibly larger, nice and crispy and is easier to chew. Once cooled, you can feed these pieces as delicious treats.

Older dogs in particular will be happy if you prepare the entire chewing stick in the microwave this way, then it will be easier for them to chew and enjoy. Please also make sure to provide your dog with fresh water - so chewing acts like “brushing his teeth”.

Important note

If in doubt, always choose one size larger. In dogs with particular biting force, the chewing stick can be bitten through. For puppies, please pay attention to the current size and less to the weight. Only feed under supervision. Chewing items that have become too small may be remove. At what age can the chewing stick be fed?
The chewing stick can easily be fed at any age. The prerequisite is of course that the dog, for example if it is a puppy, already eats independently and does so when given dry food, etc. there were no problems. As a rule, we recommend the chewing cheese for puppies aged 4 months and over.

How well tolerated is the chewing stick made of hard cheese for dogs with sensitive digestion?
If you have any medical questions, owners should contact the veterinarian. However, if the dog is allowed a maximum of 20% protein in its food, then churpi with more than 65% protein are unsuitable.

How much fat is still contained in the cheese?
The annual average raw fat content in recent years has been 11.46%, depending on the batch it is between 9 and 12% .
