The leather used differs from industrially produced leather in both its production and its finishing. The raw material for the Wildfang® leather bone comes exclusively from cows from EU farms that have the animal welfare certificate. Afterwards it will be Plant extracts, naturally tanned and by hand with olive oil and Fats Treated. Chewing on the softer chew toy reduces stress and helps the dog relax. The material is safe even if the leather bone breaks into many small pieces after playing.

No, the leather chew bone is safe for your dog to eat. It is made from 100% untreated cowhide and is therefore completely safe.

How is the leather tanned?
The production of cowhide, which we use for our leather bones, is a vegetable tanning process. The hides are treated with various layers of natural fats and olive oils, and this process is carried out by hand in our workshop.
